Our rising star, this third vintage of our Estate Sauvignon Blanc, is fast becoming a staple for serious collectors. Sourced from the two-acre vineyard on the Lithology Estate at the base of Howell Mountain, our Sauvignon Blanc includes a significant percentage of the aromatic Clones 18 and 1, and Musqué.
Vineyard
Distinguished by its mineral-rich volcanic soils and unique topography, the terroir of the Lithology Estate vineyard allows the grapes to mature slowly and develop the complex secondary and tertiary flavors coveted by wine connoisseurs worldwide. Certified organic and situated at the base of Howell Mountain and the Vaca Mountain Range, this vineyard produces wines characterized by depth, structured firm tannins, and longevity suitable for extensive cellaring.

"This is part of the new wave of Napa sauvignon blancs showing great tension, purity and restraint with minerality and freshness. Aromas of sliced lemons, lime leaves, white pepper, wet stones, citrus oil, iodine and green olives. The palate is mid-weighted with bright acidity, a mineral feel and a mouthwatering finish.
