The 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is in an ideal drinking window for the next two years, but can be cellared through 2030 for added complexity.
Vineyard
Our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon provides us the opportunity to create a classic Napa Cabernet blended from some of the finest sites throughout the valley. The Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced primarily from the eastern edge of Rutherford, providing a core of dense, lush, mocha-laced dark fruit. In this vintage, for the first time, we acquired a touch of Howell Mountain Merlot from one of the highest vineyards in all of Napa Valley, adding vibrant energy and textural nuance. A touch of Cabernet Franc from Oakville adds a beguiling floral lift and notes of espresso.

Tasting Notes
A wine of pure complexity with layers of depth and concentration, our 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has notes of cranberries, cola, and root beer, complemented by mineral characteristics and firm tannins. A weightless component in the midpalate leads to a nice, long finish. Decant for a few hours to open aromatically. Our 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon will continue to age beautifully through 2045.
